Recipe of the week: Quick and Easy Breakfast On-The-Go






This is my go-to meal when I am in a hurry in the morning and don’t have time to sit down for breakfast. It’s so quick and only has 3 basic ingredients!


– about half a cup of diced apples*

– 4 large spoon fulls of vanilla yogurt

– a handful of old-fashioned oats

– cinnamon (optional)

* Since I don’t end up using the whole apple, I like to slice up the left over apples and bring them with me as a snack for later on during the day.


I know these measurements seem really broad (because they are). That’s the great thing about this don’t need exact measurements! Just aim for equal amounts of each part, then mix them together and you have a perfect breakfast meal. You can even sprinkle some cinnamon on top if you’re feeling adventurous.

The fruit and yogurt is refreshing on a warm day, and all the ingredients make a nutritious power combo. Sometimes I’ll throw in some cereal and granola too. I like to pack it in a tupperware container so I can munch on-the-go. Enjoy!
