Homemade Salsa Verde

If you’ve got a food processor or blender in hand, then this will be a SUPER quick and easy salsa recipe! Even though my go-to salsa is pico de gallo (which I also have a yummy reciep for! Recipe post still pending…), it’s nice to change it up once in a while. I made this once before about a year ago, but since I couldn’t find the recipe I had used then I pulled together my own version of this green salsa. Its a yummy blend of spice and lime flavors!

Ingredients

5-6 Tomatillos, chopped
1 Roma tomato, chopped
1/2 Jalapeno, chopped
1/2 cup cilantro
Garlic salt to taste
Lime juice to taste

There’s really only one step in these directions: throw all the ingredients into a food processor or a blender to mix up all the ingredients. That’s all! I suggest mixing together the tomatoes and jalapeno first, then gradually adding the other ingredients until you get the flavor you like. My food processor isn’t the most powerful, so my salsa ended up more on the chunky side. Still tasty though!
